Grants and Giving

We are committed to giving back to our communities. Through our Good Neighbor Grant program, ExxonMobil Pipeline Company is able to support local tax-exempt community programs, education initiatives or environmental projects. This includes charitable contributions to police and fire departments, school programs and wildlife education.

Our Coronavirus Response

During the COVID-19 crisis, the Baton Rouge Refinery shifted operations to produce medical equipment and 200,000+ gallons of medical-grade hand sanitizer. Our team also partnered with local small businesses and community organizations to sustain educational programming, distribute meals and masks, and donate 60,000 gallons of fuel to first responders and medical providers.

Supporting Local Colleges and Universities

Twenty Louisiana colleges and universities will receive more than $3 million as part of the ExxonMobil Foundation’s Educational Matching Gift Program. ExxonMobil employees and retirees contributed more than $850,000, and those individual donations were matched by nearly $2.15 million in ExxonMobil Foundation grants. We encourage these colleges and universities to designate a portion of these funds to science, STEM programs supporting student engagement.
